Operators/Assemblers - Medical Device Industry Gilero is growing and looking for Operators to join our team at our medical device manufacturing plant located in Pittsboro, NC. Full-time work is available on the first shift working 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. Our Operators work in clean-room environments and are responsible for the building, assembling, and packaging of products for medical devices/equipment. Assembly activities require strong manual dexterity with strict adherence to detailed work instructions and processes, and uses of assembly equipment. Responsibilities:
- Build assigned assemblies per work instructions.
- Follow cleaning and packaging processes.
- Maintain the integrity of the cleanroom by executing daily cleanroom preparation activities.
- Perform inspections of components and assemblies including reviewing small details and ensuring accuracy.
- Complete correctly required documentation associated with the assembly process.
- Demonstrate good manual dexterity and coordination with the ability to properly assemble small parts in a fast-paced production environment.
- Demonstrate understanding of basic measurement and inspection tools.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices in compliance with Gilero's Quality Management System.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications :
- Attention to detail and ability to operate in a highly regulated, quality-centric environment.
- Manual dexterity and coordination with the ability to properly assemble small parts in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment and ability to work using a microscope.
- Excellent communication skills and time management skills. Including basic reading and writing in English.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Methodical, highly detailed, and able to adhere to all cleanroom and assembly protocols.
- Reliable with demonstrated ability to report to the worksite daily.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and sit.
- Experience with cleanroom assembly practices preferred.
- Experience in the medical device or other FDA-regulated industry preferred.
