Nitinol components, balloon expandable stents and balloon catheters, delivery systems, biomedical textiles, access kits, engineered polymer tubing, and guidewires. We are looking for an In-Line Inspector I to join our Chattanooga, TN Team. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will: Inspect product per specifications using specified measuring equipment Read, follow, and accurately complete all provided documentation (product drawings, work procedures, process logs, etc.) Have some computer proficiency with a willingness to learn computer systems required to perform job responsibilities Work with engineering to generate clear and concise work instructions, test methods, and visual standards Be able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple process responsibilities Demonstrate personal initiative and the ability to effectively execute tasks independently Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP): line clearance, work instructions, documentation, etc. Work with and train other skilled technicians/operators in the inspection methods and required documentation Communicate issues to engineering for collaborative continuous improvement Be willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have ability to modify work shift as needed by business conditions Perform other duties as required Education, Experience and Requirements High School diploma or general education degree (GED) 0-1+ experienced years of mechanical or related machine operation Medical Device industry experience. Extremely hands on with some mechanical aptitude Good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) Strong attention to detail, professional attitude, team player Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Proof of 20/20 or better vision, unaided or corrected We regret that we are unable to sponsor employment visas or consider individuals on time-limited visa status for this position.
