The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in setting up and operating injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency in the production process. Duties Assist set-up and operation of injection molding machines according to specifications. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Assemble and fabricate plastic components as required by production standards and schedules. Utilize hand tools and materials handling equipment safely and effectively. Assist with scrap reduction and continuous improvement projects. Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any defects encountered. Wash and clean the plastic cores to ensure quality standards are met. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Inspect product to ensure quality by required standards. Maintain clean work area. Qualifications Experience in plastics injection molding is preferred. Familiarity with plastics extrusion processes is a plus. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. Knowledge of machining processes is beneficial. Strong ability to handle materials safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively. We also offer hourly employees a weekly bonus of $58.62. That brings the pay up to almost $21 per hour.
