Job Description

Industrial Little Rock, AR 1st Shift $15/Hour Job Details The Molding Machine Operator is responsible for overseeing the machines assigned to them and ensuring that all products produced meet quality standards. The operator will clean, trim, sort, and inspect parts to prepare them for packaging. This role requires attention to detail, safety adherence, and effective communication with supervisors and technicians regarding any equipment or product issues. Key Responsibilities
Visually inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
Perform both visual and gauge inspections in accordance with guidelines.
Package and label products as per work instructions (WI).
Trim parts where necessary to meet production standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in their assigned cell or line at all times.
Identify, label, and dispose of any scrap materials.
Report any product issues to technicians or supervisors for resolution.
Operate equipment within the Molding area, such as the band saw and pneumatic cutter.
Notify a technician if the machine stops working to prevent production delays.
Follow all safety procedures and immediately report any safety concerns to supervisors, adhering to 5S guidelines.
Participate in the company's continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
Communicate with supervisors or QA technicians if uncertain about whether parts should be scrapped.
Support the company's established quality policies and fulfill the role as outlined in the quality system manual, directives, and work instructions.
Live by the company's Core Values in all daily activities.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for up to 12 hours per day.
Proficient in reading and writing English clearly and concisely.
Able to regulate a steady pace to meet production demands.
Must be capable of correctly identifying different materials and products.
Ability to operate a forklift as needed to move materials.
Must work effectively with minimal supervision once trained.
