Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces to determine accuracy of machine operation, using process procedures, templates, or other measuring instruments.
- Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions such as worn or damaged rollers. Notifies Supervisor in case of detection.
- Change worn machine accessories such as rollers, fingers and pushers using hand tools.
- Performs Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks per specification and acts in accordance with output.
- Inspects parts to ensure conformation, dimension and tolerance levels with specifications and blueprints using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Utilizes full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before start, during and completion of production run.
- Recognizes improper machine functioning and recognizes defects in machinery, measuring instruments or equipment and informs leads or immediate supervisor when machine maintenance is needed.
- Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling or cleaning machines, dies, or work pieces, or adding coolant to machine reservoirs.
- Reads blueprint for product specification such as dimensions, tolerance, number or parts to be formed and tooling instruction on type of tooling required.
- Able to read routers and operation drawings to determine machining dimensions and requirements.
- Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations.

- Able to read, comprehend, and execute directions from mechanical drawings.
- Able to measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
Pay:
