$28.00•$32.00 per hour Position Summary The Process Technician is responsible for starting up, troubleshooting, and operating injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and quality output. This role supports production operations by maintaining proper machine cycles, monitoring product quality, and assisting with mold setup and material handling as needed. Key Responsibilities Start up and shut down injection molding machines according to established procedures.
Process Injection Mold machines:
Van Dorn , Toyo, Fortune, Sumitomo, Mitsubishi, Core pulls, Yushin Robots and sprue pickers Ensure machines are operating at proper cycle times and producing parts that meet customer specifications. Monitor production processes and troubleshoot molding issues as they arise. Verify the work of Set-Up Personnel and Material Handlers and assume their responsibilities when necessary. Perform mold setups when required. Address and report safety concerns promptly. Maintain production efficiency, quality standards, and workplace organization. Report directly to the Plant Manager. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. 4-5 years of experience as a Process Technician in an injection molding environment. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Scientific Injection Molding training preferred. Knowledge & Skills Familiarity with ISO requirements and standards. Ability to use calipers, gauges, and other measuring instruments. Strong knowledge of plastic raw materials used in injection molding. Excellent troubleshooting skills related to molding processes. Knowledge of machine and mold maintenance procedures. Strong organizational skills and professional work habits. Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments. Dependable, reliable, and safety-conscious.
