Job Description

Injection Molding Process Technician Job description: This position will perform all mold trials and validation for new Peek molds and existing modified molds. Develop injection molding process using scientific molding methodologies. Organize and maintain all injection molding machine and auxiliary equipment.
Injection Molding Process Technician Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
 Implement, control and audit molding processes.  Plan and coordinate mold trials for new and existing modified molds.  Develop Injection Molding process and auxiliary equipment programming.  Make recommendations on process, tooling, and material and equipment modifications.  Develop, coordinate and train set-up technicians  Interface with engineering, molding and quality assurance to resolve tooling and molding issues.  Manage mold trials setup and change-over.  Carry out other duties reasonable within capability as required by the Sr. Molding Supervisor. Injection Molding Process Technician Require Knowledge, skills, & abilities: Working knowledge in Scientific Injection Molding Process or RJG.  Experience in operating Arburg machine and Selogica controller.  Experience with Engineered Thermoplastic molding process i.e. Peek and Ultem.  Excellent teamwork, and oral/written communication skills, including ability to resolve task conflicts.  High degree of technical aptitude with a demonstrated knowledge of injection mold tool design, build, repair and maintenance.  Personal computer skills working with CAD software and Microsoft Office products  Must be able to interpret part drawings and specification.  Discretion, confidentiality
