In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge transportation technology, conducting rigorous testing and quality assurance on autonomous vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and performance. Your hands-on work will directly contribute to the development of next-generation mobility solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of transportation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced systems, utilize your mechanical and technical skills, and be part of a forward-thinking environment committed to innovation. Responsibilities Operate autonomous vehicles in controlled testing environments, following detailed protocols and safety procedures. Collect and analyze data during test drives to evaluate vehicle performance, sensor accuracy, and system responses. Conduct thorough quality inspections using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and soldering equipment to ensure vehicle components meet strict standards. Utilize schematics and technical drawings to assist in assembly, troubleshooting, and repairs of vehicle systems. Perform non-destructive testing methods to assess structural integrity and identify potential defects without damaging components. Maintain detailed records of test results, inspection reports, and maintenance activities for quality control documentation. Support the implementation of ASME codes & standards to ensure compliance with industry safety and quality regulations. Experience Ability to safely operate a vehicle 3+ years holding a CA license Proficient with technology Ability to type 45
WPM Pay:
$29.00 per hour
