Bronze Foundry Wax Technician

Job Overview We are seeking to add a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bronze Foundry Wax Technician to join our dynamic bronze sculpture manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, wax pouring, wax chasing, wax spruing and other tasks needed within the wax department. Having an artistic eye and background is a plus. We are willing to train the right individual with the right attitude! Duties

• Pouring or painting molten wax into a mother mold to capture all details of the original sculpture, then releasing the wax to prep for the next stage of production
• Wax chasing a piece to identify and remove imperfections and seam lines.
• Maintaining a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Operating a soldering iron to securely attach wax bars (gates/sprues) evenly across a piece in order to ensure an even metal pour throughout the entire piece.
• Knowing and following all safety procedures as required and keeping a safe and clean work environment. Qualifications
• Dependable, detail oriented, motivated, and be a team player to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Motivated to work in a high volume, productive atmosphere.
• Able to communicate and work well with supervisor and coworkers.
• Capable of filling written and verbal instructions in a positive manner.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Good at creative problem solving
• Able to have reliable transportation to work.
• Willing to work full time.
• Able to provide references.
