Injection Molding Technician Location :
Oxford, CT Salary :
$25-33 p/hour
DOE Shift :
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm + overtime available We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various manufacturing techniques, particularly in plastics processing. Experience with Injection molding is a must! Responsibilities Working in a team of 8 Responsible for starting machines, optimizing processes, and troubleshooting part issues. Expected to minimize scrap, waste, and downtime while ensuring that jobs are started quickly and efficiently. Use best industrial practices and updated equipment. Optimize the process for new molds Start existing molds in accordance with pre-determined process Troubleshoot processes producing out-of-spec components Document and update new processes and procedures Verify the correct set up of injection molding machine Work with production manager to propose and execute cost reduction strategies Support quality objectives and safety initiatives
