- 12:00 AM Position Summary TMF Plastics Solutions Group is seeking an experienced and motivated 2nd Shift Mold Setter to join our manufacturing team in Bradenton, Florida.
This position is responsible for performing mold changes, machine startups, process verification, and supporting production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance. The ideal candidate will have injection molding experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform mold changes on injection molding machines in accordance with established procedures. Set up and prepare molds, auxiliary equipment, and tooling for production runs. Verify machine startup and ensure processes are running within approved parameters. Troubleshoot molding and setup issues to minimize downtime. Assist Process Technicians and Supervisors in maintaining production efficiency. Ensure molds, machines, and work areas are clean, organized, and safe. Complete required production and setup documentation accurately. Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts. Assist with preventive maintenance activities as needed. Qualifications Previous experience as a Mold Setter, Process Technician, or Injection Molding Setup Technician preferred. Working knowledge of injection molding equipment, molds, and auxiliary systems. Ability to safely operate forklifts, cranes, or mold handling equipment (or willingness to be trained). Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Ability to read and follow setup sheets, work instructions, and production schedules. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with high-volume plastic injection molding operations. Knowledge of scientific molding principles. Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment and robotics. Why Join TMF?
