Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Mixer Driver, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality concrete to various job sites. Your expertise in operating commercial vehicles and heavy equipment will ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of concrete, supporting the successful completion of paving, foundation, and finishing projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and driving skills to contribute to large-scale infrastructure developments. Duties Safely operate concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles to deliver concrete materials to construction sites Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to schedule deliveries and ensure timely arrival of materials Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards Assist with loading and unloading concrete, rebar, and other construction materials using loaders, excavators, or other heavy machinery when necessary Support concrete pouring, forming, finishing, and pumping activities on-site to facilitate smooth construction workflows Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and safety documentation Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, site hazards, and transportation regulations Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or concrete pumps on construction sites Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record for operating commercial vehicles including concrete mixers and dump trucks Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs if needed Familiarity with construction site procedures including rebar installation, concrete forming, paving, and finishing techniques Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel Prior experience in construction or concrete delivery roles is highly preferred Join us in building the future! $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
