Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Water/mold
  • Restoration/ Remediation Technician to join our team.
We are a growing family owned and operated remediation company. The ideal candidate will have a background in the remediation industry and experience in water damage restoration, mold remediation. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must also have background in restoration/carpentry experience. Having your own tools is a plus. This is a 1099, sub contractor position or can be W2. Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of properties after water damage, or other disasters to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to clean and restore surfaces, including carpets, upholstery, and drywall.
  • Perform mold remediation and removal techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Remove hazardous materials, and dispose of them according to regulations.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as carpet cleaning machines, to restore properties to their original condition.
  • Work closely with project managers to develop and implement restoration plans.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. Experience
  • Previous experience in the restoration industry is essential, water damage restoration, and mold remediation.
  • Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools is necessary.
  • Experience with carpet cleaning and other restoration techniques is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in cramped spaces is essential.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are a plus.
This is a 1099 or W2 position with a company vehicle. We will need a copy of your GL policy or exemption.
