The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining milling equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality materials. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of various construction processes. The Mill Operator will play a crucial role in our operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our projects. Responsibilities Operate milling equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality materials. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate production schedules and workflow. Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using loaders and dump trucks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Support paving operations as needed. Maintain accurate records of production activities and material usage. Requirements Proven experience in mill operation is required. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with commercial vehicle operation is a plus. Ability to operate loaders and dump trucks safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
