Job Description

Job Overview We're hiring a Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician to support and optimize our injection molding operations. This role focuses on managing production machines, refining process settings, troubleshooting, and ensuring consistent part quality. We're ideally looking for someone certified in injection molding through an accredited program (RJG, Paulson, or similar), or with at least 2 years of hands-on experience as a process technician/engineer. This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow into advanced engineering, tooling, and leadership roles. What You'll Do Manage setup, operation, and optimization of plastic injection molding machines Adjust and refine processing parameters to ensure high-quality, efficient production Troubleshoot molding, material, and tooling issues to minimize downtime Assist with mold changes and setups, filling in for the tool setter as needed Collaborate with the production team to manage scheduling and workflow Support quality control through part inspections and process validation Maintain accurate documentation of process settings and improvements Help drive continuous improvement in cycle times, scrap reduction, and consistency Work Environment Indoor, air-conditioned facility Mix of seated, standing, and hands-on machine work throughout the day Light to moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs) Quiet, focused setting with a small, friendly team What We're Looking For Certification in plastic injection molding (RJG, Paulson, or equivalent) OR 2+ years of experience as a process technician/engineer Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and process optimization Ability to set and verify mold and process parameters independently Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and with a team Familiarity with production scheduling, SPC, or quality systems is a plus Why Work With Us Full-time, stable position with room for advancement Paid training and certification opportunities Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends Hands-on involvement in diverse projects and products Clean, low-stress work environment PTO credits given annually Free coffee and occasional donuts!
