Grinder Operator (1st Shift) $20/HR Overview The Grinder / Secondary Operator is responsible for operating grinding and finishing equipment to process metal parts according to customer specifications. This position supports production by performing grinding, blasting, packaging, and general labor tasks while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. Schedule & Pay 1st

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM Key Responsibilities Operate hand grinders and power tools to finish and prepare metal parts Perform grinding, blasting, marking, beveling, and forming tasks as assigned Use shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare materials Assist machine operators in maintaining a steady production flow Package finished parts and move materials as needed Accurately complete and confirm work orders in SAP Operate forklifts, cranes, or side loaders when trained Use tape measures, calipers, and basic math to verify dimensions Follow work instructions to meet quality and production standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Ability to safely operate hand tools and perform general labor Experience using a tape measure and calipers Ability to lift, carry, and move materials regularly Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent schedule Ability to work effectively in a team environment Comfortable working in a heavy industrial setting Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.16/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
