7:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs); 7:00am-11:00am (Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Injection Mold Finishing Operator position available at a company in Mason City, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Injection Mold Finishing Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Trim flashing and excess plastic from molded parts using hand tools such as clippers and knives.
• Perform visual inspections of products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Notify supervisors or Quality Assurance personnel of any quality concerns or defects.
• Assist with minor mechanical operations on injection molding machines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Work cooperatively with team members and follow all company procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Injection Mold Finishing Operator Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to stand or sit for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Eye protection may be required while performing job duties.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or related experience of 3-6 months preferred.
