Injection Molding Machine Operator 1st & 2nd Shift 510 South Spencer Street, Lexington, IL 61753 $17.00

  • Full-time 1st Shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday-Friday 2nd Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday-Friday 3rd Shift 10:00 pm to 6:30 am Monday

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Machine Operator Responsibilities Operate plastic molding machines (manual, semi-automatic, or automatic) and run multiple machines when required. Remove runners and sprues and perform basic grinding as needed. Trim, deflash, assemble, drill, sand, glue, or finish parts using hand tools and equipment. Inspect parts for quality defects and perform required checks using gauges and inspection tools. Follow control plans and provide samples for quality inspections when required. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of scrap and debris. Empty scrap and recycling containers daily. Report machine, equipment, or production issues to a supervisor. Meet production and quality requirements. Assist with training other employees when assigned. Requirements Previous manufacturing experience required. Ability to read and follow work instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Dependable with good attendance. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
