DAYSHIFT.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Prepress Operator to join our innovative printing and manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing digital files for production, ensuring color accuracy, and optimizing print layouts to deliver high-quality results. Your expertise will help streamline the prepress process, minimize errors, and support the creation of visually compelling print advertising, packaging, and promotional materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and precision. Duties Review and interpret digital artwork files, ensuring they meet production specifications and quality standards Prepare files for printing by performing color management, trapping, imposition, and layout adjustments using industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite Conduct prepress checks including proofing, file verification, and quality control to prevent errors during production Operate and troubleshoot prepress equipment including CNC machines and flexo presses when necessary Collaborate with graphic designers and production teams to optimize designs for various printing methods such as screen printing and flexography Manage color consistency across multiple projects by utilizing advanced color management techniques Maintain detailed records of job specifications, revisions, and quality control reports to ensure traceability and accountability Skills Proficiency in graphic design software, especially Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Strong understanding of screen printing processes and techniques Expertise in prepress operations including layout design, typography, trapping, and file preparation Knowledge of color management principles to achieve accurate color reproduction across different media Experience with manufacturing processes related to printing equipment such as flexo presses and Offset printing Attention to detail in quality control procedures to ensure flawless final products Familiarity with print advertising standards and specifications for various print mediums Basic machining skills for troubleshooting or minor adjustments on printing equipment Join our team as a Prepress Operator where your skills will drive the success of our print projects!
