Job Description

Job Title:
Molding Operator 1st shift: 5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday $19/hr 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday $19.95/hr 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am Monday-Friday $20.90/hr Responsibilities Operate molding machines, presses, and related equipment to produce silicone rubber components for implantable medical devices. Work in a GMP clean room environment, following all gowning, cleanliness, and contamination control procedures at all times. Handle, assemble, and process small parts with care, accuracy, and attention to detail. Perform quality checks and visual inspections of molded parts to ensure they meet specifications and part quality standards. Use microscopes, gages, and small hand tools to inspect and verify part dimensions and overall product quality. Monitor molding machines and equipment during operation, identifying irregularities and performing basic troubleshooting as needed. Label, package, and prepare molded parts according to production and quality requirements. Follow written work instructions, standard operating procedures, and GMP documentation practices. Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or equipment problems to leads and supervisors promptly. Work effectively as part of a production team to meet daily output, quality, and safety goals. Support general production tasks such as material handling, assembly, and general labor as needed to maintain workflow. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to all safety and clean room protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.95/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
