Plastic Injection Molding Location:

$25.00•$45.00/hour
Position Type:
Full-Time Non-Relocation Position Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Mold Maker to join a fast-paced plastic injection molding manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for building, repairing, modifying, and maintaining high-precision molds and tooling while ensuring quality, efficiency, and production standards are met. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mold making, strong machining knowledge, and the ability to work independently within a high-precision tool room environment. Key Responsibilities Build new molds and tooling from start to finish Repair, troubleshoot, and modify existing molds and tooling Perform preventative maintenance on molds and tooling components Coordinate tooling projects with CNC and EDM departments Operate tool room equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and related machinery Maintain extremely tight tolerances and high-quality standards Support production and tooling improvements as needed Ensure all tooling is produced efficiently and on schedule Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of mold making experience required Strong operational knowledge of tool room equipment including: Lathes Mills Grinders Precision measuring tools Experience working within plastic injection molding environments preferred Ability to maintain tolerances as tight as .0002 Strong math and blueprint-reading skills Highly detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting abilities Self-starter capable of working independently Excellent attendance and punctuality required Flexibility to work overtime as needed Physical Requirements Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds Strong visual and auditory acuity required Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift Must be willing and able to operate a forklift (training provided) Why Apply?
