Remove molds from press after shutdown is completed. Return all molds, fixtures, and auxiliary equipment to their proper storage location in the plant. Follows 5S and TS16949 procedures. Set all molds and auxiliary equipment per the mold set-up instructions and mold set-up procedure. Connects all water lines, hydraulics and electrical connections to all molds and equipment at start-up including terminators, chillers, and other related equipment. Connect all knockout and ejector bars as needed. Clean all set-up tools, equipment, and any spilled water. Follow all safety procedures. Efficiently manages time and completing all tasks assigned. Reports damage, defects and other issues pertaining to molding non-conformances to supervisors. Ensuring the compliance of all company policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions. Must be able to adapt to various job requirements in the changing automotive world. Must be assigned to other jobs as production needs change. Experience with overhead cranes Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as: probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Must have the ability to use micrometers, gauges, and other related equipment. Must be able to read and understand work instructions. Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $17.00 - $21.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
