Job Description

Job Summary Responsible for safely and independently completing mold/tooling changes, production startups/shutdowns, ISBM/ancillary machine troubleshooting, repairs and physical plant troubleshooting and repairs daily. This role will be a cross-functional position between maintenance and process. Support process improvement, new projects and will be supporting role for new technology. Responsibilities Inspect machinery, tooling and equipment ensuring all safety features, guards and devices work properly Ability to complete tooling changes and process in a new part for production Make necessary process adjustments, tooling adjustments, repairs, and cleaning Repair/troubleshoot blow molding equipment, ancillary equipment (leak testers, conveyers, case erectors, thermolators, color feeders, vacuum pumps, and hot runners) Use inspection procedures, specifications, and prints/drawing/schematics to determine condition of parts and tooling Operate precision measuring equipment during startup or issue resolution to verify repairs/changes Establish and maintain process records to ensure products meet or exceed quality specifications Support production to reduce scrap and promote efficient operations through cycle time improvement, process adjustments and machine/mold setup tuning Perform basic facility maintenance (ie: lighting, compressors, water pumps, basic HVAC etc) Ability to lift 45-80lbs Other duties as assigned Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Mechanical aptitude required Knowledge in industrial hydraulics and pneumatics required Knowledge of industrial three-phase electric and motor controls required Knowledge of HVAC, chillers, and compressed air a plus 2+ years' experience in injection molding preferred, ISBM or blow molding experience a plus Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, industrial wiring (3 phase) and piping
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
