Analytics Full Job Description Subsidiary:
Superior Aluminum Alloys Overview:
Responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining a mold maintenance program for casting - Includes deox cone molds, sow caster molds (4-way and low-pro), ingot molds, rod line casting wheel and any new molds or associated equipment.
Responsibilities:
100% engagement in "Take control of Safety" initiatives Understand and follow all safety rules to ensure safety for me, safety for my team and safety for all Create a mold tracking database to monitor and analyze mold life Develop and administer a PM program for all molds to maximize life, reduce costs and improve performance Purchase replacement molds as necessary and maintain inventory Investigate and trial mold improvement projects Develop mold release coating best practice SOPs and train all crews to properly coat molds Work with maintenance on mold changeouts during outages Assist with design, maintenance and optimization of associated casting equipment such as pouring wheels and skim pans
Qualifications:
Self-motivation and strong work ethic Methodical planning, tracking and analytic skills Previous preventive maintenance experience preferred Strong math, reading and organizational skills Experience with Excel or similar spreadsheet / database tracking Welding, grinding, metalworking & surface preparation experience Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
