Mold Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mold Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and improving the operation of injection molding machines and molds while ensuring safety and quality. This is a 3rd shift opportunity. Responsibilities Set up and operate molding machines, including preparing molds, adjusting clamps and temperatures, and configuring core pull sequences. Prepare molds for scheduled jobs and perform routine changes (inserts, date codes) while ensuring alignment and proper knockout lengths. Troubleshoot and resolve issues on molding machines to minimize downtime and maintain product quality. Support changeovers, perform purge procedures, crane and lift operations, and prepare molds for storage or reuse. Maintain mold cleanliness and rust prevention, and assist with setup and ongoing adjustments to meet production requirements. Experience Experience setting up, operating, and maintaining molds and molding machines, with ability to troubleshoot non-routine issues. Familiarity with different mold types and molding equipment, plus a solid technical aptitude for setup and operation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with clear, effective communication to coordinate with teams. Collaborative, safety-focused mindset suitable for a fast-paced manufacturing environment and 2nd shift work.
