Full Job Description Job Description:
Smith Creek, Inc is a family owned and operated company located in Borden, IN. We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team on 1st Shift at one of our locations in Louisville, KY.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Operate and maintain the heavy equipment including a grinder and different types of front-end loaders. Assist with unloading and loading of product, material, etc. from trucks throughout the day. Must be a self-starter with good attention to detail. Must be able to work on your own and with a team. Must be approachable and helpful. Must be able to climb ladders, work from a creeper, sit, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, grasp, drag and lift or handle heavy parts. Additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to walk more than 50 ft. Must be able to work in a dusty environment. Work in all weather conditions and weather temperatures. Must have a valid driver's license
Work Location:
In person for training in Borden, IN, then main work location in Louisville, KY and occasional work in
Borden, IN Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour
