Our client is seeking a dedicated Mold Tech for the 2nd shift to ensure the seamless operation of their production machinery. Join our client's team and play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards and efficient production processes. Responsibilities of the Mold Tech 2nd shift Monitor molding machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure they are operating properly. Troubleshoot problems by diagnosing causes, making minor repairs, and cleaning molds and/or platens as necessary to prevent quality issues. Adjust controls and/or machine settings as required to maintain optimum operation and quality of parts. Perform machine start-up and shut-down as needed to meet the production schedule. Conduct preventative maintenance activities as scheduled or required. Prepare and submit work orders for the Maintenance department to address more major issues or problems. Act as a backup to the Shift Supervisor when necessary. Requirements of the Mold Tech 2nd shift High school diploma (or GED equivalent) plus two years of manufacturing experience, or a similar combination of education and work experience. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure with time-sensitive matters and respond quickly to get machinery back to working condition. Good mechanical skills, ability to read schematics, and prior experience with production machinery. Knowledge of injection molding machines and basic processing is very helpful. Basic computer skills (Word/Outlook) and knowledge of ERP software. Must be able to bend, lift, and stack materials up to 70 pounds. Compensation/Benefits for the Mold Tech 2nd shift This is a salaried position with a bonus program for weekend overtime work. 2ND
