This energetic position involves identifying, removing, and preventing mold issues to ensure safe and healthy environments for our clients. You will work hands-on with specialized tools and techniques, contributing to the overall success of our restoration projects. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of affected areas to identify mold presence and assess severity Perform mold removal procedures using appropriate cleaning methods and hand tools Utilize power tools and construction equipment safely to access hard-to-reach areas Implement water damage restoration techniques to eliminate moisture sources fueling mold growth Assist with fire restoration projects by cleaning and restoring damaged surfaces when needed Apply knowledge of asbestos abatement protocols if necessary, ensuring safety compliance Clean and sanitize affected surfaces, including carpets and other materials, to prevent future mold development Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred Knowledge of mold remediation processes, water damage restoration, fire restoration, and asbestos abatement is a plus Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environments and conditions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Willingness to learn industry-specific safety protocols and certifications as required Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to healthier living spaces!
