Tooling Technician

Job Description Responsibilities:

1) Inspection & cleaning of all molds 2) Assist Toolmakers with internal repairs & mold evaluations 3) Inspection of molds after external repair/test runs 4) Maintain mold boxes and skids 5) Assisting with crating/uncrating tolls & components 6) Update mold maintenance databases 7) Prepare written reports when required 8) Participate in department projects as needed 9) Personal Safety and following all Safety Rules 10) Housekeeping and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1) Working knowledge of

ISO 9000/QS

9000 and SQF 2) Minimum 5 yrs experience in injection molding 3) Experience related to quality testing, inspection, & measuring of plastic parts 4) Ability to properly start/shut down injection molding machines and support equipment including robots 5) Ability to accurately follow both written & verbal directions The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $25.00 per hour; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience between $ 25.00 per hour and $38.00 per hour.
