$14.25/hr Job Summary Lapeer Plating & Plastics, Inc. is seeking dependable, hands-on individuals to join our team as Injection Molding Operators on all shifts. If you are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you. No experience needed — full training provided. In this role, you will operate and monitor injection molding machines that produce high-quality plastic automotive components. You will help ensure consistent part quality, perform basic inspections, and support production flow throughout your shift. Key Responsibilities Remove parts from the conveyor belt or machine. Perform visual quality inspections and report defects. Clip or trim excess plastic from molded parts. Pack completed parts into containers accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized work area while following 5S and safety standards. Record hourly production and scrap on worksheets. Position Requirements Must be 18 years or older. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs. for extended periods. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance, especially during the 60-day probation period. Willing to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Basic math and reading skills for work instructions and labels.
