Throughout the shift you'll watch the process and finished parts like a hawk, dialing in parameters and partnering with Process Engineering to drive down downtime and scrap while pushing overall efficiency higher. What you'll do Run and tend injection molding and blow molding equipment, keeping lines moving and stable. Continuously monitor process conditions and product quality, making adjustments to meet standards. Champion quality improvements across the cell and escalate issues promptly. Collaborate with Process Engineering to cut downtime and scrap, and to improve process efficiency. Troubleshoot molding issues tied to tooling; document and report findings to the Supervisor. Support preventive maintenance (PM) for tooling and equipment to sustain reliable performance. Accurately record downtime, scrap, and changeover durations for continuous improvement. Skills that set you up for success Read and interpret blueprints with confidence. Operate a forklift and overhead crane safely. Hands-on familiarity with blow molding machinery. Education and experience High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years in manufacturing, including at least 2 years operating machinery. Experience with hand tools preferred. Physical requirements and environment Regular walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing. Lift up to 50 lbs on a routine basis. Work in both warmer and cooler conditions as needed.
