out of 5 stars 2050 Port City Boulevard, Muskegon, MI 49442 Full-time ADAC 42 reviews Full-time Position summary: Currently, ADAC is looking for a Mold Process Technician to support its molding manufacturing operations in Muskegon, Michigan in the creation, delivery, and implementation of molding manufacturing processes in production. As part of the molding technical team, this position will report to the Mold Senior Process Technician.

Essential Responsibilities:
Attend shift huddles at both start of shift and end of shift. Also responsible for providing and communicating downtime data for their shift at the end of shift huddle. Responsible for safety and working safely during their shift. This includes identifying real time safety in any work area, safety improvement initiatives and communicating to their manager safety opportunities that require immediate action. Lead, mentor and assist in training where applicable with their immediate team members (junior technician, process technician, operator/inspector, team leader, quality auditor) on current and applicable areas in molding. Work towards achieving production metric goals utilizing GEMBA boards and PDCA process: mold scrap, mold downtime, mold technical labor and mold change time. Complete the following within the first 4 hours of the shift: all applicable process monitor logs, mold cleanings, first piece checks, touchpoints, paint parts and any other required verification or task. Complete material changes, mold changes, startups, equipment swaps and mold process adjustments as needed or directed by their manager. Follow and maintain proper LOTO practices per ADAC policy. Attend the weekly technical staff meetings.
Required Education & Experience:
3 or more years of injection molding experience. 3 or more years of experience programming robotics, molding machinery and automation.
High School Diploma or GED Preferred Education & Experience:
RJG Master Molder Certificates Paulson Training Certificates Robotics and Automation Certificates Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and to build a positive rapport with all levels of the organization and their teams (up, down and sideways). Ability to take initiative and work independently. Strong problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to follow direction. Good communication skills both oral and written. Experience in using email - Microsoft Outlook.
