Molding Operator 3rd Shift•7pm-7am Rotating weekly schedule•every other weekend off! $17/hr The Molding Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining injection molding machines used in the production of automotive plastic connectors and related components. This position ensures products meet quality standards, production targets, and customer specifications while following all safety and manufacturing procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate injection molding machines and associated auxiliary equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Monitor machine performance and production output to ensure quality and productivity requirements are met. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of molded automotive connector components according to work instructions and quality standards. Identify and segregate non-conforming products and report quality issues to supervisors or quality personnel. Trim, assemble, package, and label finished parts as required. Complete production documentation, quality checks, and downtime reports accurately. Perform material handling tasks, including loading resin materials and changing packaging supplies. Assist with mold changes, machine startups, and process adjustments as directed by technicians or supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards. Follow all company safety policies, environmental requirements, and automotive manufacturing standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team problem-solving activities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to read and follow work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality inspection methods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills for production reporting and data entry. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift. Frequent use of hands for handling small plastic components and packaging materials. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, heat, and plastic materials. Work Schedule Available to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by production demands. Must maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. #INDLiv
