Job Description
This shift is 11:45p to 8:15am. The injection-molding Operator must be detail-oriented, while maintaining an efficient and productive pace. Will maintain a clean and safe working area and are responsible for the quality of their own production parts. Operators will become involved in process control and problem solving through experience and training.
Key Responsibilities:
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Attending to an injection-molding machine.
- Packing good parts.
- Grinding runners and nonconforming parts.
- Sorting good parts from bad.
- Trimming flash and cutting gates.
- Reading the schedule board for mold / color changes.
- Proper labeling of boxes/verify shelf labels. Required to put operator ID on label/box.
- Reading and understanding the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Assembling boxes for your shift and up to 2 hours into the next shift.
- Notifying support staff of non-conforming products.
