Monday through Wednesday 6:00am-12:15pm, and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00am-6:15pm.B Shift:

The Opportunity A growing plastics manufacturer is seeking an experiencedInjection Molding Mold Setter to support production operations at its Saline facility. This role is responsible for installing molds, preparing machines for production, and ensuring stable processing conditions before releasing jobs to operators. This is a hands-on position requiring direct experience with plastic injection molding setup and processing. Key Responsibilities Mold Setup & Machine Preparation Install molds into injection molding presses following established setup procedures. Prepare all necessary support equipment such as temperature controllers, water lines, and auxiliary systems. Verify tooling and equipment readiness before scheduled production runs. Production Start-Up Load approved processing parameters and start machines according to documented process guidelines. Run initial parts and confirm quality before transferring the job to production operators. Ensure machines are operating within established process windows. Process Monitoring Observe production during start-up to confirm parts meet quality expectations. Address molding or processing concerns that may affect part quality or process stability. Tool Care & Handling Safely remove molds after production runs. Clean, inspect, and store tooling and related equipment properly. Ensure mold integrity is maintained during setup and removal. Documentation & Traceability Confirm traceability features such as date indicators are properly set during mold installation. Follow all documented process sheets and machine setup guidelines. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in plastic injection molding, including mold setup and processing. Demonstrated ability to perform mold changes and machine start-ups. Working knowledge of plastics processing fundamentals. Ability to follow technical instructions and production documentation. Basic math and computer skills. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
