Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance Technician

Job Description This is a direct hire position . The Injection Molding Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to produce high-quality automotive electronic components.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines per production schedules and standards. Install molds, adjust machine parameters, and conduct routine checks.

Quality Control:

Inspect molded parts using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Address issues like warping, flash, or incomplete filling. Collaborate with QC teams to implement improvements.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/hydraulic problems, and maintain accurate repair/maintenance records.

Production Support:

Assist with raw materials, part handling, and production flow. Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Prior experience with injection molding machines in manufacturing or automotive. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick production decisions. Proficiency in using measurement tools and quality control techniques. Team player with attention to detail and commitment to safety.
