Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Operators specializing in Molding and Secondary Operations to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the production of high-quality polymer components. MOLDING OPERATOR ACTIVITIES
Operate molding machine in a safe and efficient manner using designated tools Follow all start up and shut down /OPPM procedures. Read, comprehend and perform duties as outline in the work instructions and supporting documentation such as, APQPs, shop cards, NCMR, MPSF, and request forms. Accurately record/communicate production data and react appropriately to out of control conditions. Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) at all times. Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards at all times to ensure a safe and productive work environment for all employees Communicate effectively with team lead, supervisor, finishing operators or others regarding part quality. Precisely follow all forms of work instructions, visual aids, performance data and procedures for processes and general work practices. Consistently meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining excellent product quality. Keep accurate counts on parts to ensure quantities match the job traveler and ERP system. Perform secondary operations such as trimming or clipping parts as needed. May inspect and process, under magnification, parts per the work instructions to ensure quality and customer specifications. Continually suggest and support implementation of ideas to improve safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery; work to help make Trelleborg a better company and better place to work. Follow standard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements. Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance • Conducts basic inspection of parts to assure quality meets and exceeds customer and internal standardsSECONDARY OPERATIONS ACTIVITIES
Performs Clean Room operations including measurements of air quality per customer requirements. Ensure efficient operation of the vision machines through proper loading and processing of parts. Operates equipment such as deflash machines, washers and ovens to meet customer requirements for physical, chemical, and visual attributes. Performs all necessary assembly of products according to work instructions using a variety of tools and machines. Identifies and recommends efficiency, productivity, and quality process improvements.• Perform basic troubleshooting to solve operational problems and minimize machine downtime and performance issues. Documents actions according to procedures and work instructions and transacts proper information in computer database. Provides feedback to leadership on machine performance, operational issues, and opportunities for improvements. Performs other duties as assigned to support company values and objectives. Experience Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment is preferred but not required. Warehouse experience including materials handling with forklifts is preferred.
