Job Description

Role description: The Mold Maker Journeyman repairs Mold equipment using a variety of tools. This role welds, files, grinds, vents, and polishes the Molds. This role involved letter cutting, lathe work, and millwork.

Responsibilities:

  • -Weld, grind, file, and polish mold equipment style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Grind lathe tools and do lathe work as required style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Run surface grinder when reducing mold equipment style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Use welding torches and gauges style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Repair mold equipment using milling machines style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Inspect mold equipment Minimum skills / qualifications: style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -High school diploma or equivalent style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Minimum 5 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Tool and Die experience style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Must be able to stand for 8 hours style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds Preferred skills / qualifications: style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Technical school degree or equivalent style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
  • -Journeyman Card or equivalent experience style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
