Nights Hire Type :
Direct Hire Pay :
$23-$26/hr.
Bonus :
Competitive hourly pay + $1,500 Sign-On Bonus ($500 at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year)

Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and opportunities for growth and development Sterling Engineering is searching for a Machine Operator for a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative packaging solutions, serving a wide range of industries. This role supports daily production operations while ensuring safety, quality, and food compliance standards are consistently met.
Job Duties:
Operate and monitor assigned production lines to meet daily production and quality standards Communicate with prior shift operators regarding equipment performance and issues Adjust machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and document equipment changes Conduct quality checks on containers and maintain accurate production documentation Monitor raw material levels and maintain clean, organized work areas Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain housekeeping standards Support food safety compliance by ensuring sanitary conditions and reporting issues Work assigned shifts, including overtime and after-hours meetings as needed Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED preferred 1-2 years of manufacturing, plastics, or packaging experience preferred Basic computer skills required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on concrete floors for extended periods Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
