N Job Description:
Press Operator ( 3rd ) Job Duties and Responsibilities To operate primary operations equipment- Molding. To efficiently and safely operate equipment, including making satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality. To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification. Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information. Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to ensure the continuation of control conditions. Provide active input to the continuation of control conditions. Effectively communicate job-related information to co-workers, supervisor, service areas, and others who need to know. Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas. Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position. Provide assistance in writing new or revising old procedures. Participated in the training of others and aid in their appraisal. Perform other tasks as requested. Qualifications Able to read and understand procedures, process sheets, etc. Able to do basic math calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Understand decimals, Fractions, percentages, averages, etc. Able to write legible sentences. Operate and adjust equipment properly. Properly use measuring equipment and accurately interpret results. Understand and apply SPC fundamentals. Demonstrate satisfactory relational skills with regard to communications, cooperative associations, and participation in continuous improvement. Thorough knowledge of all applicable process documentation. Exhibit positive team behaviors. .
Qualifications:
Ability to understand and follow, procedures, work instructions, and process documents. Basic math skills (fractions and decimals).
