Job Description

The Grinder Operator will be responsible for working with a team to operate grinding equipment and supporting the continuous flow of the coffee in the Westrock Collins plant. The individual will own and manage all processes associated with grinding coffee including production paperwork and schedule. This position will report to the Supervisor of Roasting and Grinding.
Responsibilities include:
Perform all duties of a grinder (perform particle analysis / Agtron testing adjust grind recipes). Start, run, and shut down grinder with minimum downtown. Operate a forklift and other material moving equipment in accordance with safety requirements. Produce to a daily schedule to meet customer demands. Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment with assistance of a maintenance technician. Perform computer transactions in NetSuite. Record and input grinding data into a Grind log. Maintain first in first out in the roasted silos, Inventory cycle counts, rework coffee as needed. Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Qualifications include: 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. 1-2 years' experience monitoring product quality. 1-2 years of certified forklift experience. Strong mathematical skills using percentages and fractions while working with recipes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of mechanics. Basic computer skills.
