What You'll Be Doing As our next Mold Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality products in a clean, air-conditioned, and state-of-the-art environment. Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair molds in tool shop and production environments Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of mold conditions and repairs Diagnose and complete mold repairs based on condition reports Conduct routine preventative maintenance on molds Maintain and enter records (mold condition reports, spare parts, BDE system) Assist in training and guiding apprentices Handle mold components carefully during disassembly and assembly What You Bring Associate's degree in Mechanical Science or related field (or equivalent experience) 1-2 years of related experience preferred Basic knowledge of metal polishing and mold electrical wiring Proficient with hand tools and metric measurements Ability to read technical documents and follow procedures Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements) Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Profitemp Requirements Ability to work 2nd shift (2:30 PM-11 PM, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays) Ability to train on 1st shift for an approximately 2 months from 6am - 2:30pm before going on 2nd shift. Regular standing, walking, and use of hands/tools Frequent bending, climbing, and lifting (up to 25 lbs regularly, 100 lbs occasionally) Good vision and manual dexterity required
