Molding Technician (2nd Shift) Mt. Laurel, NJ $28-$32/hour
Shift:
Monday-Friday | 3:55 PM - 12:05 AM Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Molding Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Mt. Laurel, NJ. This role is ideal for candidates with machine setup, mold hanging, or injection molding experience, especially in plastics or automotive manufacturing. The Molding Technician is responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding machines, ensuring high‑quality production that meets customer specifications and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and adjust injection molding machines according to work instructions and specifications Hang molds efficiently and safely using forklifts, hoists, and hand tools Monitor and optimize process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc.) Start machines, produce first‑piece samples, and perform quality inspections Troubleshoot molding processes and adjust settings to eliminate defects Work with Quality team to ensure parts meet dimensional and surface standards Perform multi‑insert mold changeovers Maintain process sheets and update documentation in system (IQMS) Connect and regulate auxiliary systems (air, oil, water) for mold operation Support preventative maintenance and minor machine repairs Collaborate with Tooling and Production teams to improve processes Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1+ year of injection molding or manufacturing experience (preferred) Experience with machine setup, mold changes, or process troubleshooting Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical documentation Strong problem‑solving and mechanical aptitude Comfortable using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) Forklift certification required Experience with plastics or automotive manufacturing is a plus IND38
