This role involves performing water damage and mold remediation services to help clients restore their properties efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, particularly in mold remediation and water damage repair, and possess a strong work ethic with attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing various tools and techniques to deliver high-quality restoration services. Responsibilities Conduct water damage restoration, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes Perform mold remediation tasks following industry standards to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues Use hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair work Assist with asbestos abatement procedures when required, adhering to safety protocols Clean and restore affected areas such as carpets, walls, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning methods Operate fire restoration equipment as needed to restore fire-damaged properties Maintain a safe work environment by following safety guidelines and wearing protective gear at all times Document job progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients throughout the process Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry is highly preferred, especially in water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire restoration Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including carpet cleaning and general surface cleaning Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction-related equipment Experience with asbestos abatement procedures is a plus but not required Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
