Job Description

The Role We are looking for a motivated individual to join our tooling team as an Entry-Level Injection Mold Repair Technician . You'll work alongside experienced Tool Makers to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-precision plastic injection molds. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves mechanics, has a "fix-it" mindset, and wants to build a career in advanced manufacturing.
What You'll Do Preventative Maintenance:
Perform routine cleaning, greasing, and inspection of molds between production runs.
Troubleshoot:
Help identify causes of part defects (like flash or shorts) and assist in basic mold repairs.
Disassembly/Assembly:
Take apart complex molds, clean internal components, and put them back together accurately.
Tooling Support:
Use basic shop equipment (manual mills, lathes, grinders, and hand tools) to assist in repairs.
Documentation:
Keep clear logs of maintenance performed to ensure our production team stays on track.
What We're Looking For Mechanical Aptitude:
You're comfortable with hand tools and have a natural knack for understanding how mechanical parts fit together.
Detail-Oriented:
You take pride in precision and don't mind following strict technical checklists. Willingness to

You're ready to take direction from senior technicians and grow your skill set.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of your shift.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Technical school training or prior experience in a machine shop is a huge plus. Why Join Us?

Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
