Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Setup and changeover machinery and equipment according to the priorities of the production schedule. Installation and removal of molds in injection presses. Setting of process parameters and process limit alarms. Setting of equipment safety features and low pressure mold protection. Connection of water, hydraulic and air lines. Connection and checking of any mold protection switches. Installation and removal of peripheral equipment (chutes, conveyors, etc.). Ensure that the required raw materials are staged in the workstation. Complete mold travelers as required. Ensure that the process parameter sheet is reflected in the actual machine settings. Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Tool Room to ensure machine is producing a quality part. Must have the ability technically to understand processes in association with mold set-up and manufacturing operations. Must be able to start a press and bring product up to an acceptable measure at "start-up;" as well as note any changes on a "

PROCESS NOTICE

" sheet. Provide operator assistance as required. Responsible for working with tool engineering and other departments as needed for development of new product. Must have basic knowledge of materials and the injection molding process. Must maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Experience:

High School diploma or equivalency (G.E.D); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project; Ability to learn new software as needed.
