Set Up Technician - Injection Mold Operator Emerge - 4.3 Rochester, NY Job Details Full-time $24 - $27 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Machine setup Industrial equipment adjustment Injection (injection molding) Industrial equipment troubleshooting Mechanical troubleshooting Equipment adjustment (production tasks) Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Set-Up Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 40 hours per week
Location:
Rochester, NY Responsibilities Set up and pull injection molds from presses ranging from 50 to 1,000 tons. Load, adjust, and optimize machine parameters to meet production requirements. Connect, test, and monitor mold cooling systems. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, process issues, and equipment performance concerns. Identify molding defects and make process adjustments to improve product quality. Diagnose and correct out-of-tolerance conditions. Perform mold changes safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime. Maintain production standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing best practices. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of injection molding setup experience required. Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and troubleshooting techniques. Understanding of mold types, resin materials, and processing methods. Ability to read and adjust machine parameters to optimize production. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Must provide own tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience with the following equipment is preferred: Toyo Toshiba Cincinnati FCS Sumitomo Experience with Procrea software is a plus.
