division is currently seeking a Foundry Core Maker - 1st Shift. The core hours are 6am-2:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $22.52 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do:

• Plan and perform all required duties to setup core making machines and produce a variety of shell, isocure, and pepset cores for use in the foundries.
• Perform minor repair, adjustments, lubrications, and settings of machines to insure proper operation of the machines as well as, produce a quality part.
• Core boxes may need vents added to urethane core boxes and replace existing vents; drill only straight holes on flat surfaces as needed to perform these tasks.
• Perform necessary duties to fill sand hoppers as directed or required for machine production and perform core box assembly, prescribed use of rods, or nails for core reinforcement, removal of cores from box.
• Clean core and position cores in pan and move cores to designated areas and place on pallets.
• Operate fork truck as required in performance of job duties.
• Perform a variety of similar or associated duties as required or directed.
• Detect and report all defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain visual measurements.
• Follow prescribed or standard safety regulations ##

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
• Minimum one (1) years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum six (6) months of fork truck experience.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered for this position.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
