Mayer Bros. Apple Products, Inc. is seeking a Blowmold Operator position available in the West Seneca, NY. Mayer Bros. Apple Products, Inc. is a family-owned beverage manufacturing facility est.1852. It is one of the leading beverage companies, which also has a blow molding department that produces 1-gallon & ½-gallon quality bottles for food and beverages.

About Position:

• Direct hire position. INDHWSE
• Shift time: 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• 24/7 operation with a flexible schedule.

Job Function:

Under direction of the Blowmold Supervisor and/or Blowmold Manager, perform assigned responsibilities to support the safe and productive manufacture of quality product and to meet the goals and daily production targets on all machines within the Blowmold department. Perform basic maintenance to keep the machines in optimal working condition. Perform regular quality checks on products and rectify them if required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and efficient operation of the 6-head Uniloy Blow Mold machines, trimmers, leak testers & Baggers.
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, reach, lean over, stoop, and stand on a regular basis.
• Perform machine startup, parison/weight adjustment, basic machine troubleshooting for quality product.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as necessary.
• Responsible for coordinating shift production needs and reporting paperwork.
• All duties relating to product quality control.
• Oversee loading of product into trailers.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing. Plastic experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with little direct supervision.

Computer Skills:

MS Word, Excel & Outlook.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in loud noise and fast paced factory environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, reach, lean over, stoop and stand on regular basis.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.

Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
