Join the first production team of Pro Performance Wheels as we launch a new aluminum wheel manufacturing operation backed by a company with more than 25 years of success. As a Casting Operator, you'll operate advanced casting equipment and play a key role in producing high-quality aluminum wheels while helping build a new manufacturing operation from the ground up. About Us Our parent company has been in business for more than 25 years and is launching Pro Performance Wheels, a new aluminum wheel manufacturing operation. We're building our founding production team and looking for people who take pride in quality work, value teamwork, and want to grow with us from the very beginning. What You'll Do As a Casting Operator, you will operate and monitor mold wheel casting equipment in an aluminum manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves working around heat, molten aluminum, and advanced machinery while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating casting equipment and monitoring production processes Preparing molds and monitoring casting quality Inspecting finished wheels for quality concerns Supporting equipment upkeep and reporting maintenance issues Working collaboratively with quality, maintenance, and production teams Following all safety procedures and required PPE standards What Makes Someone Successful Here We're looking for someone who: Follows established procedures and does things the right way Stays focused and maintains attention to detail throughout the production process Communicates effectively and works collaboratively across departments Is dependable, open to learning, and interested in growing alongside a new operation Takes pride in producing consistent, detailed, high-quality work Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of furnace, foundry, molten metal, metals, or closely related manufacturing experience (aluminum experience preferred; 2+ years strongly preferred) Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around heat, molten aluminum, and industrial equipment Basic math and measurement skills Strong commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow established safety procedures and PPE requirements Ability and willingness to work overtime as production needs require Schedule & Environment Full-time | Monday-Thursday (4 x 10-hour shifts) Fridays typically off, with overtime opportunities as needed Industrial manufacturing environment involving heat, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and PPE Pay & Benefits Hourly starting rate of $20-25 with potential for increases upon skill development, cross training and more Paid time off Health insurance (medical, dental, and vision) Life Insurance Short-Term Disability Insurance Retirement Plan Growth Opportunity As one of the first Casting Operators on the team, you'll have opportunities for cross-training, skill development, and future growth as the operation expands.
